The (BGCT) graciously donated $10,000 to help assist HBU students who were affected by Hurricane Harvey. Mr. Ernest Dagohoy, BGCT Houston area representative, visited campus during a convocation (chapel) service to present a check on the behalf of the organization and its executive director, David Hardage.
鈥淭his gift is an affirmation that Houston Baptist University and the BGCT have enjoyed a great partnership,鈥� Dagohoy said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 my prayer that God will continue to use this institution to shape good citizens of this world and faithful citizens of the Kingdom of God.鈥�
Dr. Robert B. Sloan, HBU president, thanked Dagohoy and the BGCT, and said the gift helped a group of students to continue their education at HBU.
